Dr. Morelli grew up as an Air Force brat, living all over the country before ultimately settling in Texas, the place she now proudly calls home. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Biology and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine magna cum laude from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, Dr. Morelli spent 16 years practicing small animal and exotic medicine in Austin before relocating to Dallas in 2021 to be closer to family. Her professional passions include canine and feline internal medicine, endocrinology, surgery, dentistry, ultrasonography, fear-free handling techniques, and providing thoughtful, compassionate care for mature and senior pets.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Morelli enjoys visiting Disney World, watching movies, binging great TV series, reading sci-fi and fantasy, attending Broadway musicals, spending time with loved ones, and traveling the world with her husband.
Her own furry (and feathered) family includes Fitzherbert, a Poodle mix; Charlie, a Papillon mix; Stardust, a Boston mix; and Prince Charming—“P.C.” for short, a spirited Pionus parrot. Although she has always dreamed of having cats, her husband’s severe allergies keep that dream on hold, so she happily gets her feline fix by cuddling her patients instead.
